Crazy Week
Well, it’s one of those crazy weeks, ladies. This will truly be a test of my commitment to pray every day.
My little cross-eyed girl will be having surgery tomorrow to correct her strabismus, so I will be a bit preoccupied with that. I would appreciate your prayers both for her and for me (selfish woman that I am). Being a doctor has its disadvantages sometimes. You know more than the average person when your child has to have a simple surgery under general anesthetic.
This morning, though, my wonderful sister-in-law, Stacey, sent me this link to a video that helped take my mind off things for a few minutes. If you are a mom with a mini-van, you must go visit this link. It is so funny.
Thank you so much for keeping us in your prayers.

Hi Tamera,
The Lord actually put you in my heart yesterday. I was hopeing everything was OK. I will be praying for the both of you. That video was too funny. I’ve lost a couple of bottles in my SUV when Xander was younger and would later find them by the smell. Yuk!

Jen,
I was just telling my SIL that we “lost†a bag with bananas in it. That was pleasant after several days.

I just read this about duct tape:
A man only needs two tools - WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn’t move and should he can use the WD-40, if it moves and shouldn’t he can use the duct tape.
What a sweetie your Sophia is! Thanks for posting a photo. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Tamera,
Hey! Your Sophi is so cute and I’m not saying that because I looked like her when I was little! In fact I wore glasses, had blonde hair, and I too was cross eyed. I was fortunate and did not have to have surgery and actually the muscles got stronger and I don’t have that problem anymore and I don’t have to wear glasses except for close up stuff. I have a caption for the picture..
“the pure in heart will see God”

Thank you, everyone who prayed for Sophia. She did very well! The surgeon said that the surgery went perfectly. It seems odd to see her eyes looking straight ahead,
We got home late because there was a problem with the car, and everyone basically went straight to bed, LOL.
Thanks again for praying. I appreciate it so much!
